Following Too Closely Tickets

NYC Ticket Master can help you!

Traffic congestion in New York City guarantees that every driver is following other vehicles “too closely.”  It’s generally accepted that you should leave one car length of space open for every 10 MPH that you are travelling.  However, the statute only refers to a “reasonable and prudent” distance, and at least one court has found that law enforcement cannot substitute this generally accepted principle for the reasonable and prudent analysis.*

Do not plead guilty to a charge of following too closely.  Instead, consult an experienced attorney who can help you reduce or dismiss the charge, and save you 4 points on your DMV record.
